USIBWC Texas Clean Rivers Program (CRP) conducts different types of meetings. We have public meetings to share information about the program activities, the water quality of the Rio Grande, and monitoring updates. These meetings are commonly called Basin Advisory meetings and are open to the public. Other kinds of meetings are planning meetings to coordinate water quality monitoring efforts among different entities. These meetings, called Coordinated Monitoring Meetings, bring togther stakeholders, allow for more efficient use of agency resources, and take into consideration concerns from the public addressed at public meetings. We also participate in trainings to better manage the program.
