CRP Photo Gallery - Lower Canyons Canoe Trip March 2009
In March 2009, a team of researchers from TCEQ, National Park Service, USGS, USIBWC, Sul Ross University, and Texas State University set out on a 7 day canoe trip of one of the best canoe trips in the lower 48 states - the Lower Canyons of Big Bend, part of the Wild and Scenic Rio Grande. Research was being conducted on geology, hydrology, and biology of the area.
