CRP Photo Gallery - Lower Canyons Benthic Macrointerbrate Collection, March 2009
In March 2009, Chris Kolbe from TCEQ and Liz from USIBWC collected benthic macroinvertebrate samples of the Lower Canyons of Big Bend. These are very interesting little critters! River bottoms are full of them! They are a good indicator of the health of the river and of water quality parameters.
